Blending rich texture and cool tones, this piece captures the fox’s quiet resilience. The was inspired by a determined fox which took several of the artist’s chickens. This oil on canvas was initiated as a finger painting and progressed to brush work. I would call this style Expressive Impressionism with the bolder impasto strokes.
